HTML5 is the fifth major revision of the core language of the World Wide Web. HTML5 comes in two variants HTML5 and a XHTM5. Currently these two variants of HTML5 are developed in parallel.

These are some of the new tags introduced in HTML5, <footer>, <video>, <audio>, <nav>, <article>, <section>, <aside> and more.
